Artist's Comments

A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
Bruises that won't heal

You look so tired and unhappy
Bring down the government
They don't, they don't speak for us
I'll take a quiet life
A handshake of carbon monoxide

No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
Silent, silent

This is my final fit, my final bellyache with

"No Surprises" - Radiohead

Finished! Fulltime work is killing me and preventing me from having time to draw, so I'm pretty much only able to really draw on weekends. So, look forward to weekends guys lol.

The amazing (and uber hott!) Jackie Earle Haley as Walter Kovacs from the Watchmen film. That movie was amazing and JEH took my breath away as Rorschach. I encourage everyone to see the film.

I truly hope he enjoys and likes this drawing when he gets around to viewing it (I'm aware that he's really busy filming Nightmare on Elm Street right now).

------------------------------------------------------------------

Time: I have no freakin idea
Materials: 2H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B on bristol
Reference: "Watchmen: Portraits" book, which is filled with truly beautiful photographs. Luckily I found one on sale
A/N: I do not own the original photograph/reference, nor do I own Watchmen or the film. Both belong to the genius Alan Moore and Warner Bros. If I did own them, I would not be working fulltime at an amusement park.

It´s finished :) Great as always.
Again I really like the details in the portrait, for example the way the left ear (from his perspective) is somehow a little bent... it looks very realistic. The shading is alos awesome, especially around the area of the larynx and around the area of his mouth and nose.
The shirt looks very plastical, too.

Amazing, as always!!!!

Absolutely love your JEH/Rorscach work, you do such a great job of capturing a very sexy man!!!

ngh, wow. That is just.... absolutely breathtaking. I saw it in my updates, and I knew you'd drawn it, but it still looked like just a copy of the picture from the Portraits book. Yeah, that's how good it is o_o;

<3 marvelous darling.

Stunning as usual. You've captured him perfectly. I'm particularly completely mesmerized by the detail in the hair and the neck!

Great choice of song too. Wonderful.
